Vanguard UK expands ETF range with four new funds

Vanguard reduced the ongoing charge on its five UK LifeStrategy funds from 0.22% to 0.20% and launched a new LifeStrategy Global range with no UK home bias. A phased reduction in the UK equity weighting of the existing funds began in early 2026.

Vanguard announced the closure of its Active UK Equity Fund in April 2026, citing persistent underperformance and insufficient scale. Affected investors were offered free switches into other Vanguard funds.
