• On a £250,000 pension pot, yearly drawdown charges across 20 UK platforms range from £0 to £1,350 — a gap of £1,350 a year before fund charges.
• The median yearly drawdown charge on a £250,000 pot is £563.
• Over a 20-year retirement, that £250,000 gap adds up to £27,000.
